FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can I get the best Meditainment experience?
- EXPECTATION - do not expect to enter a meditative state until after about 10 minutes of the meditation.
- ATTENTION - you gain more by giving your full attention and being free from interruption.
- CONDITIONS - best experienced through headphones and with room lighting dimmed.
Why do I need to close my eyes?
It's extremely difficult to relax fully and visualize a story with your eyes open. Once in a meditative state, you might experience something similar to lucid dreaming, where you are totally in control and can create a world within your imagination.
What are the benefits?
The practice of meditation can have a number of psychological benefits including increased calm & happiness and reduced stress & anxiety. Physical benefits can include reduced blood pressure and an enhanced immune system.
Is Meditainment dangerous?
As with any meditation experience, there are no dangers directly associated with Meditainment. But obviously, do not use the products whilst driving.
Will I experience any disorientation?
You may feel sensations much like you would do during a good dream - lightness, heaviness, sleepiness etc. These are perfectly normal whilst in the meditative state. When the experience ends, you may feel some feelings of detachment similar to awakening from a deep sleep. These feelings will be minor and temporary.
Is there a spiritual dimension?
All Meditainment content is secular. It is not aligned with any religious, atheist or spiritual movement. Meditainment is often used for personal development and exploration of the mind. Users do this on their own terms.
